GAMMA OMICRON-What are we about?

Epsilon Sigma Alpha is a leadership and service organization bringing good people together to pursue programs that make a positive different-locally, nationally and internationally. Since 1929 ESA members have used their network of more than 1,000 chapters throughout the US and Australia to excel in community, education, service and philanthropy. ESA was established in Kansas in 1930. Kansas has approximately 50 chapters functioning throughout communities in the State of Kansas. These chapters support many local as well as state and international philanthropic projects.

Gamma Omicron is one of 50 Kansas chapters and we are located in Manhattan, KS. We along with all of the other Kansas chapters have donated over 50,000 hours and at least $500,000 to philanthropic projects in our communities as well as to Heartspring in Wichita, KS, Goodwill/Easter Seals of Kansas, and St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.

On an international level we have raised more than $130 million in cash and pledges for St. Judes.

Gamma Omicron's local projects are: Flinthills Breadbasket, Stoneybrook, Second Helping, Crisis Center, Emergency Shelter, Manhattan's Free Clinic, Big Lakes Development and giving out scholarships to our youth.

There is a wealth of opportunities for volunteering, fellowship and fun as a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International. I encourage everyone to explore the Kansas ESA website at
http://www.esaks.org/ and contact a chapter in your area, or our State Membership Director. If you would like to learn more about ESA and what we do on an international level please visit http://www.epsilonsigmalpha.org/Homepage or contact ESA Headquarters at 970-223-2824.
